Recall Information - Pull Stations Single/Dual Action.
As part of Potter’s ongoing commitment to quality control we thoroughly test all of our devices prior to releasing them for purchase. As we recently advised, during testing by Potter of the PAD100-PSSA Single Action Pull Station and the PAD100-PSDA Dual Action Pull Station, it was noted that there was an issue with the proper operation of a small percentage of the devices. Today, as a result of that issue and in conjunction with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Potter is announcing a Fast Track Recall of these products.
Potter immediately placed the suspect PAD100 pull stations on shipping hold, and Potter reported this issue to the CPSC. Additionally, we instructed our contract manufacturer to begin producing PAD100-PSSA Single Action Pull Stations and PAD100-PSDA Dual Action Pull Stations with an alternative part that is unaffected by this issue. We currently have stock of PAD100-PSSA Single Action Pull Stations and PAD100-PSDA Dual Action Pull Stations that use the alternative part.
