When requesting a design, please also consider the following:

• Does the AHJ require Class A or Class B systems?
• Do the frequencies used by county and jurisdictional parties match the frequencies supported by Guardian BDAs?
• If a channelized system is required, how many channels must be supported?
• Does your AHJ require the system have an emergency shutoff button?
• Does the cable need to be in a 2-hour rated enclosure?
• Does the Uplink of the BDA need to be reduced due to the radio tower being close to the project site?

Knowing the answers to these questions ahead of time will drastically improve design accuracy, approval of system permit, ease of install and success of AHJ inspection.
